New School Farm

We are an incubator farm in the heart of Spokane. Located in the Vinegar Flats neighborhood, we teach new growers sustainable small-scale farming.

We offer apprenticeships to beginning farmers that are a 3-5 year commitment. They build their business while using our land and they receive hands on education from a farmer mentor and classes from community partners. We also offer farming classes to the public and summer internships. A percentage of the produce grown on the farm is donated to organizations in our area that serve low-income residents.
